ALWAYS obtain a Vehicle History Report:
No matter what type of vehicle you’re looking for, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the information needed to make an informed decision. A Vehicle History Report will provide you with information pertaining accidents, major repairs, title history, previous odometer readings, liens, and auction history. One you have a report you will be able to make an informed decision as to whether the car is worth your investment.
Be prepared:
Upon arrival to the auction be sure to have the lot number, your bidder number and your photo identification ready. Once you sign in at the desk you will obtain the keys to the lot and head out to view the vehicle you are anticipating bidding on. You should always view the body condition, frame, engine bay area and interior. Furthermore, verify that the vehicle starts and pay keen attention to the dashboard indicator lights.
