Tesla has taken the world by (electrical) storm with the production of high-functioning, super-fast electric vehicles – aka EVs – including SUVs, sports cars, and sedans. There’s something for everyone. With climate change and state regulations forcing automakers to reconsider the way they manufacture vehicles with fuel efficiency in mind, more and more companies are switching to EVs. For Tesla, though, that’s what they do. And they do it well. However, Tesla ownership is cost-prohibitive for the average car owner. We can help you with that in the form of a Salvage Tesla.

We specialize in online auto auctions, particularly salvage vehicles. If you’ve got some mechanical know-how and time to bring a salvage vehicle back to road-worthiness, you can find a perfectly suitable salvage Tesla at auction that you can make your own. Sometimes, Teslas you see at online auction don’t even need extensive repairs to get them running.

So, you want a Tesla but you’re not sure which one? Here’s a breakdown of different models.

Model S

Launched in 2012, the Model S has seen numerous upgrades since its inception. Now offered in Long Range and Performance models, newer models can hit 60 MPH as fast as 2.4 seconds, top out at 163 MPH, and have a 370 mile range on a single charge. Oh, they’re AWD, too. The Performance model also has what’s called “Ludicrous Mode,” which ups your acceleration game to what is apparently a *ludicrous* degree. See available Model S’ here.

Model 3

The Model 3 was launched in the United States in 2016 as a more affordable alternative to the Model S. 0-60 MPH in 3.2 seconds, a top speed of 162 MPH, and AWD as well: the Model 3 may be an alternative to the S, but is still very much a performance car. It has a range of up to 310 miles per charge (the Long Range version), and all the hardware required for future self-driving capabilities. The Model 3 is Tesla’s ‘family’ car. Model X

In a market that’s currently dominated by larger vehicles, Tesla has kept up quite nicely. The Model X seats 7 comfortably, is AWD, and has a range of up to 325 miles per charge. It’s also got awesome Falcon Wing doors, to boot. And a huge touchscreen. The whole thing’s huge. Two models and three seating configurations make this EV-SUV customizable, made to fit your family. All of our Model X’s can be found right here.

Model Y

Crossover SUVs are huge now, and Tesla made sure to attack that portion of the market as well. The Model Y is Tesla’s iteration of the CUV. It seats seven, is spacious, and is available in RWD or AWD. Standard Range with RWD hits 0-60 MPH in 5.9 seconds and offers 242 miles of travel on a charge, and the Long Range RWD iteration goes from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds and offers 336 miles of travel. The AWD versions are faster, but with slightly lower travel ranges on a single charge. Find Model Y’s here.

Roadster

The Roadster was the first highway legal serial production electric car that used a lithium-ion battery, and the first to go more than 200 miles per charge. Originally produced from 2008-2012, a new iteration is rolling out (electrically) in 2020. Tesla claims that it’ll go from 0-60 in 1.9 seconds and have a range of 620 miles per charge, almost twice the range of any EV currently available. Our available Roadsters are here.

Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster (along with a mannequin pilot) was launched into orbit – making it the only consumer-available passenger vehicle to go as far as it has. And the mannequin too, unless there’s some other weird stuff that’s been sent into space that we don’t know about.

So there’s a Tesla for everybody, and we have lots of them available on AutoBidMaster. If you’ve got some time and some technical know-how, finding a repairable salvage Tesla for sale can be the path to affordable Tesla ownership. We all know the price of a new Tesla is out of reach for a lot of us, so find the perfect Tesla within your budget, with us.
